This is a used pneumatic Nor-Cal angle vacuum valve model 980315-1 with pressure reducing restriction built-in, formerly part of a residual gas analyzer (RGA) system. The pressure reducing path in the valve contains a micro-hole orifice which is designed to operate at an incoming pressure of 100 mTorr. It reduces the incoming pressure to the high-vacuum operating pressure of the RGA (about 10-6 Torr) at the output. Please see photos for actual condition of item.
